Join us for an evening inside Mai Kinohi Mai: Surfing in Hawai‘i with Bishop Museum historian and exhibit curator DeSoto Brown, exhibit designer Michael Wilson, and special guest surf historian and author John Clark.
Mai Kinohi Mai: Surfing in Hawai‘i is Bishop Museum's original exhibit featuring unique treasures from the Museum’s collection of surfing materials and archival surfing photographs.
Learn more about the stories and surfers behind some of our favorite exhibit pieces, and engage with our special guests for a chance to win a signed copy of “Hawaiian Surfing: Traditions from the Past” by John Clark or a set of “Surfing: Historic Images from Bishop Museum Archives” notecards.
